I Train Dogs hosts the only open Register of dog trainers and behaviourists in the UK and no fee is requested for basic registration.  Those listed are expected to be professionals and behave professionally: most will be members of organisations or groups which have evaluated their credentials.  However, while I Train Dogs makes every effort to ensure that information on this site in relation to the activities of its members is accurate, safe and up-to-date it does not accept any legal responsibility for any omissions or errors on the site unless due to its negligence or the negligence of its administrators.  Whilst I Train Dogs makes every effort to vet external sites it does not endorse or accept responsibility over any external sites that may be linked to or from this site. It is the responsibility of the those using this site to ensure that any trainer is qualified to to the level they need. I Train Dogs is not responsible for the accuracy of the information entered by individual trainers.

Conditions of membership

Members of the iTD community are expected to maintain the highest standards of behaviour in every aspect of their activities and relationships and to adhere to the  Code of Best Practice agreed by the sector through a series of meetings called by the Companion Animal Welfare Council, which implicitly includes the uses and abuses of the Internet, Instant Messaging, Texting and Social Media.

Pricing

We are a UK based enterprise.  To ensure a complete Register, listing is free but an enhanced listing attracts a small annual fee charged in UK Sterling. The price of a 12 month subscription may vary from time to time.

I Train Dogs has a firm commitment to privacy and the Data Protection Act.

Data Protection

When filling in forms on our sites your details will be retained by I Train Dogs for the purposes of its records and to allow members of the public to search for trainers and behaviourists.

Security and Data

I Train Dogs has ensured that the site has the essential security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of any personal information with in our control. Only the registered user, or certain authorised administrators of I Train Dogs are be able to amend personal data.
